About Us
Mac's Auction is a family-owned business that has been around for about 50 years. Started by D.C. McKown, Mac's Auction is now run by his son David McKown and David's son, Micky. It's a family affair with many members of the family - Shelley McKown, Skyla Sullivan, Angie McKown, Olivia Holt, to name a few - contributing in various aspects from taking care of the books, paperwork, advertising and more. Close family friends (that are considered family!), Lora, is the weekly cashier and Sandy is the clerk. The good ol' barn on Y Highway has been the auction's home site since the beginning, thanks to Willie Foster and his family. The Mac's Auction family extends to the regulars who can be seen bidding at each and every auction!

Mac's Auction Service specializes in consignments, estate sales and more. If you have an estate or items you wish to sell, don't hesitate to give us a call so we can come take a look! 816-808-1663 or 816-630-7990. As for buyers, you will never find a buyer's premium or any fees associated with attending a sale. Just grab your number and start bidding! Accepted payments are cash or check with a valid I.D.
Directions
We are located just east of Excelsior Springs near Crystal Lakes. Take 10 hwy though town to Y highway north (by John's Super), approximately 1-1/2 mile north. Directions to auctions not held at the barn will be posted on that sales listing. Off street parking. Restrooms and concessions available.
